Sin City’s Carla Gugino is one of my favorite actress is Carla Gugino. I became a fan of her after I watched the movie Our Lady Of Victory last year. This movie was set in 1972 and it as based on the true story of the “Mighty Macs” of Immaculata University winning the first national championship in women's basketball.
A little about Carla Gugino. According to my research, Carla was born in Sarasota, Florida. When she turned 5 years old she moved to Paradise, California with her mother. She moved places to places when she was little. That did not affect her grade. She remained an “A” student through out the high school years and graduated as valedictorian. She was discovered by a major model agency in San Diego and they sent her to New York to begin a new career when she was only 15 years old. Carla Gugino found New York was too much she could handle therefore she returned to LA in the summer. Once again she pursued an career as a model. After that she enrolled in an acting class after listening to her aunt.

What is your home remedy for common cold?

1 teaspoon honey (a natural antioxident)
1 teaspoon lemon juice (a natural antiseptic)
1 teaspoon of vinegar (another antiseptic)
1 teaspoon of butter. (to soothe a sore throat)
Mix all together and drink as hot as you can stand it. Each ingredient has seperate properties (in parentheses). It isn't the greatest tasting thing in the world, but it isnt as bad as it sounds, and it makes you feel a lot better! You can have it as many times a day as you like too."

Being ABLE to sleep is very important, push the fluids and eat best you can.
Doc always told me give it 10 days from onset to run its' course, then if it keeps lingering at a pace where it seems not to be getting better then come see him.
Also, sore and red throats usually with a "Cold" are drainage and an antihistamine and warm salty water gargled takes care of this.
Take a flash light yourself and a mirror or another persons help, and IF you see NO SPOTS on your tonsils or back of throat that usually means seeing a doctor is worthless too. Colds are a virus. Spots indicate INFECTION by a bad bacteria like Strep or possibly Staph. Then seek immediate treatment.
A fever of 1-2 degrees I try not to treat as this IS your bodies natural defense engaging and you "feel bad" but actually will get over the cold quicker if you can tolerate some fever. That's how your body destroys enemies, with a little heat.
Folks are "quick" to treat a low grade fever, and they remain sick longer. That IS A FACT."

The right way to audition for either Canadian Idol or American Idol.
We all want that instant fame. We want the fame that Jennifer Hudson, Paris Bennet, Carrie Underwood and other past American Idol got. However do we really have the talent to get it? Well, I have been watching both Canadian Idol and American Idol since it first came on the air. I kept asking myself, why would so many people embarrass themselves on the national television for? Why a lot of people were devastated when they did not get the golden ticket. I mean if the judges thought a particular person was not a good singer then obviously they were right. They had been in the music industry for long periods of time; they knew exactly what they were saying. People should not take their criticism to heart. If the judge said they didn’t have the ability to be a good singer then don’t fight them on it. Just let it be. Maybe you have talents to do other stuff.
My recommendation is that, before someone goes to the Canadian Idol or American Idol audition they should host a singing party and invite their close friends over. Try to sing a few songs for them. Ask them to be as honest as possible. They should also ask their friends that if they have enough talent to make it to the final 34 or whatever the number is when the Canadian or American people start to make the decision. If the judges didn’t eliminate them then Canadian/American people would.
Please keep in mind, Canadian/American Idol is a singing competition; people are going to competing with the best of the best national wide. I mean if you are really cocky, ignorant and you think you are the best; then I hate to tell you this but I am sure you are not. I am sure there is someone in the country that is just that much better than you. If you don’t have the talent to compete with the best of the best, then don’t go to the audition and embarrass yourself on national television.
Think about it, can you really compete with the stars like Jennifer Hudson, Paris Bennet, Carrie Underwood etc. They sure didn’t embarrass themselves. They definitely have the talents.
I guess every cloud have its silver lining. The show would be really boring if they did not show any bad singers. However with that said, I just hate looking at no talent people who embarrass themselves on national television.

Domestic violence is domestic violence, regardless of who it affects. I don't see you down in the district court scrutinising any other women after they've been beaten up. Leave it alone, won't you?
